How We Earn Money

lactuca.ca is a review and information website dedicated to helping Canadian players find the best online casinos. We earn affiliate commissions when you click on certain links on our site and sign up for casino accounts through our referral links. This means the casinos we review may pay us a commission if you visit them through our website.

Our Editorial Independence

Our affiliate relationships do not influence our casino rankings, reviews, or editorial content. We maintain complete editorial independence in all our assessments. Our rankings are based on objective criteria including game selection, bonuses, security, customer service, and user experience—regardless of commission structures. We review both casinos that are and are not affiliate partners.

Identifying Affiliate Links

Affiliate and sponsored links on lactuca.ca are clearly marked with the label "[AFFILIATE LINK]" or "[SPONSORED]" near the link text. Some links may also include disclosure language indicating they are referral or promotional links. If you're unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, please contact us before clicking.

Legal Compliance

This disclosure complies with the Competition Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-34) of Canada and the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards. We are committed to transparent, honest disclosure of all material connections between our website and the products and services we review.

Your Responsibility

We encourage you to make informed decisions about online gambling. Always gamble responsibly and within your means. Clicking an affiliate link does not change the price or terms of service you receive—but it does help support our website at no extra cost to you. You are never obligated to use our links; you may visit any casino directly if you prefer.
