Lactuca is an urban farming operation just minutes from downtown Edmonton. We use organic growing methods to produce a broad array of hard-to-come-by varietals of the highest possible quality - delivering it in as sustainable a way as possible, often by bike.
Lactuca currently supplies 2 farmers' markets and several of Edmonton's top restaurants with urban-farmed veg. 2013 will see a serious expansion in production, and although the flagship product will remain funky, seasonal salad mixes, we'll also be growing a broad array of varietally unique vegetables - including a solid lineup of heirloom French veg and a collection of heirloom tomatoes.
